Right now...

Worked out today. Feeling really gooooood! Just got off the phone with one of my business associates, D, with whom I am currently working on a ringtones project. He is in Hawaii after having hung out and networked (I hate that word but...) in LA for the Grammys. Lucky bastard! I am so wishing I was in Hawaii or ANYWHERE hot, sunny, with palm trees RIGHT NOW...I am very much OVER the winter. I am a hot weather lay by the beach type of chick. At the beach any chance I get!



....How about the Grammys? I am reading on other blogs that most people DID NOT like them. We have known for some time now that the Grammy winners are determined by a small group of people who are not always up on pop culture. Hopefully the system will be reformed so that the artists who deserve the awards actually get the awards...

--- watching 106 & Park and its the "flashback" video of the day. I was partying it up back when this song was hott! Years later LL would become one of my clients at an urban management company in NYC. He was -- how do you say -- kool to work with but not kool to work with? I mean in a lot of ways I learned mucho from him -- he is very well read and definitely knows the music biz like the back of hand but he was well, a chauvanist too. I actually had this conversation with him once and of course he did not agree with me but that was my opinion and always will be! I am not throwing dirt on L at all becuz overall I do like him as a person, highly respect his talent and give him his props as being a living legend and I feel lucky and honored that I was able to work with him.
